Multan sits 500 kilometres south of Islamabad, on the road that carries on to Karachi. It is a long single-day run in good conditions, and it is also the point where the weather starts to matter — a loaded vehicle standing in Multan summer heat is a different problem from one standing in Islamabad.
The route through Pindi Bhattian and Khanewal
The run goes down the M-2 to Pindi Bhattian, then onto the M-4 through Faisalabad and Khanewal into Multan. It is a long day. We load early, because arriving after dark into an unfamiliar address costs more time than it saves.
Heat changes how you pack
From May to August, the inside of a closed container on this route gets hot enough to matter. Candles, cosmetics and anything wax-based go in a marked carton and travel near the doors. Polished furniture is sheeted rather than sealed in plastic, because plastic against a hot surface leaves marks that do not come out.
Cantt, Bosan Road and the older city
Multan Cantt and the Bosan Road side are easy access. The older parts near the shrine and the inner bazaars are not, and a Mazda will not get in. We plan the last stretch from a photograph of the street before the vehicle leaves Islamabad.
Areas we cover in Multan
If your area is not on this list it does not mean we will not reach it — tell us the address and we will tell you straight away whether the vehicle can get to your gate or whether the last stretch needs a smaller one.
