Peshawar is 180 kilometres from Islamabad on the M-1 — a half-day run and one of the easier long routes we do. A house can be loaded in the morning and unloaded the same afternoon, which keeps the cost closer to a local move than most people expect.
A half day on the M-1
The motorway to Peshawar is fast and direct. Loading at eight means unloading in the early afternoon with time to spare. Because the run is short, a second trip is realistic on the same day for larger houses — often cheaper than upgrading to a bigger vehicle.
Hayatabad, University Town and the cantonment
Hayatabad is straightforward: wide roads, numbered phases, easy parking. University Town is older and the houses are larger, which usually means more furniture than the floor area suggests. Cantonment areas need entry arrangements made in advance, same as Rawalpindi.
