Chakwal is 95 kilometres from Islamabad on the M-2 — close enough that a full house shift is genuinely a half-day job, and close enough that you should not be paying long-distance rates for it.
Half a day, start to finish
Ninety-five kilometres down the motorway with the Kallar Kahar descent in the middle. Loaded in the morning, unloaded by afternoon. For a 2-bed house this is one of the simplest intercity jobs we do.
The Kallar Kahar descent
It is the one part of this route worth mentioning. A long steep descent puts sustained load on brakes and moves anything that is not strapped. Loads for this route are secured against forward movement specifically, which is not the default on a flat run.
Talagang, Choa Saidan Shah and the surrounding area
The smaller towns around Chakwal are reachable on the same trip. Roads narrow once you leave the main route, so the last stretch may need a smaller vehicle — planned beforehand from a photograph rather than discovered on the day.
