Islamabad is where we load from, so this is the city we know street by street. A shift from G-11 to Bahria Town is a different job from G-11 to F-7, and not because of the distance — it is the parking, the lift, the guard at the gate and what time the society lets a truck in.
Sector to sector, usually one day
Most moves inside Islamabad are a single vehicle and a single working day. A 2-bed house in the G sectors is a Shehzore load: packed in the morning, driven across, and set down the same evening. Larger houses in F-6, F-7 and F-8 often need a 16-foot Mazda, mostly because of the furniture rather than the floor area.
DHA, Bahria and the societies outside the sectors
Moves to DHA Phase 2, Bahria Town and Gulberg Greens take longer than the map suggests. Society gates want a gate pass, some restrict truck entry to certain hours, and the internal roads add time at both ends. We arrange the gate pass beforehand where we can, because a truck waiting at a barrier is your money burning.
Apartments, lifts and the third floor
Islamabad has a lot of walk-up apartments. The single most useful thing you can tell us is the floor and whether the lift works and fits a mattress. That one fact changes the crew from two men to five, and it is the difference between a quote that holds and one that moves on the day.

The route. This is our base city. The office is on Khanna Pul Service Road, which puts us on the Islamabad Expressway in minutes and inside most sectors within half an hour.
